The Next Chapter

We've changed our name. For 8 years our legal name has been Triad Business Group, LLC. We've been known as Triad Business Group, Triad IMS, Triad Interactive, Built by Triad and just plain old "Triad." This name served us well in the beginning because people always thought they had heard of us. In reality, they were probably confusing us with all the other businesses with Triad in their name... and there are a lot of them. Although we will miss sometimes being associated with an exotic crime syndicate, we're excited to move on.

So, in 2008 we decided to explore the name change. In order for us to consider a potential name, it had to meet several criteria:

• It had to communicate who we are and what we do.
• It had to be simple and memorable.
• It had to be flexible enough to allow our business to evolve.
• It had to be unique.
• It had to be easy to say, hear and spell.

After several months of brainstorming, research and debate we landed squarely on: Creative State. Not only does it reflect the creative nature of what we've done for 8 years, it truly resonates with who we are and what we're about. So, the new name isn't a gimmick. It's not a marketing ploy. Sure, it's practical in the ways mentioned above, but the main reason for the change is to better articulate our true identity. "True identity"... that sounds like we're super heroes. Maybe we are.
